Nashville’s Big Bash
Our annual New Year’s Eve celebration will once again be held in Bicentennial Mall State Park–just north of downtown. The gates open at 4:30pm with music kicking in at 5:15pm. CBS will televise performances live starting at (TBD). Food and drink vendors will be available onsite.
A ten-minute fireworks display will launch us into 2025 with a bang. Staged near Nissan Stadium, it will be visible from the Bicentennial Mall, Lower Broadway, Riverfront Park, much of the East Bank, and most rooftops.
General information about Nashville’s Big Bash. Make sure you wise up on house rules so you know what you can and can’t bring.
WeGo, our metro bus line, will be be operating a continuous free shuttle between the Bicentennial Mall and Hume Fogg High School (on Broadway between 7th Avenue N. and Rosa Park Blvd.) every 10 minutes until 1:30am.
PARKING
- If you want to park anywhere near the concert, you’ll need to arrive early because space is limited.
- Limited parking at Nissan Stadium is available for $10.

RIDESHARE
Rideshare drop-off/pick-up sites are located on Jefferson Street, Rosa Parks Blvd., and two spots along James Robertson Parkway.
SCOOTERS AND BICYCLES
There are designated spots to drop off scooters or store bicycles.
ADA DROP-OFFS/PICK-UPS
Quoting official info: Vehicles with ADA Permit Hangtags or License Plates will be allowed to drop off and pick up on Rosa L. Parks Boulevard near the Tennessee State Museum, north of Locklayer Street. Vehicles may stop only to drop off and pick up.

- Lodging is fairly limited in the immediate area so book early if you want an easy walk to the concert.
- Learn more about this neighborhood known as Germantown.
- Need something? There’s a Kroger just two blocks from Bicentennial Mall (but it’ll be closing early).
Downtown New Year’s Eve Events
Honky tonks and bars across town will be hosting their own themed events and rooftop fireworks watch parties. I won’t try to list them all but here are some of the most unique. General reference point: the better the view of the fireworks, the higher the ticket price.
Live music, DJ sets, dancing, cocktails, and champagne toasts. Plus a darn good view of the fireworks at midnight.
Third Man Records is hosting Sparkle City Disco, Nashville’s premiere vinyl disco DJs. Prices start at $25.88.
The vibe: a Prohibition Era speakeasy. The perks: a Welcome cocktail, a stunning dessert bar featuring a stunning chocolate fountain, a DJ keeping things hoppin’, and a midnight glass of champagne. Price: $54.75.

Multiple DJs provide your soundtrack for the evening at Lower Broadway’s biggest rooftop dance floor. Dress warmly or plan on non-stop dancing at this outdoor venue at Fifth and Broadway. Opt for the cash bar or purchase a wristband for the open bar. Pricing: $80+.
The DJ will be dropping a mix of Top 40, hip-hop, house, and mash-ups at this SoBro hotspot. The basic package includes light snacks and midnight champagne. Early birds pay $10; general admission is $15.
They’re reprising last year’s theme–Disco Rodeo–with the party happening on all four floors. Each floor is a different experience including rooftop igloos. Guests are encouraged to break out their rhinestones and western gear. Because it’s right across the street from the riverfront, it’ll have one of the best views of the fireworks. General admission prices start at $59.32.
Expect live music on all floors and a variety of VIP packages. For example, the second floor offer including an open bar will set you back $352.18.
The Supper Club and Rooftop Bar encourage you to dress to the nines for a spectacular evening. Highlights include extravagant food stations, unlimited cocktail and champagne, and multiple music offerings. General admission is $375 with VIP experiences available.
(Not to be confused with the Hampton Inn/Downtown.) Chill out on the rooftop while enjoying an open bar and music provided by a DJ. Champagne toast at midnight. Prices start at $177.69.
Whiskey River/Lucky B@stard Fast Pass
They’re working together (at 111 and 408 Broadway respectively) to provide a double dose of New Years Eve fun. A VIP pass ($118.59) fast-tracks you into the fun. They’ll have premium bar service and live music. If your New Years resolution is to ride a mechanical bull, Whiskey River can hook you up.
Visit multiple bars from 9pm-2am with general admission starting at $10. Honestly, they haven’t published specifics so I’d investigate before committing.

Hotel Festivities
I’m citing hotels with rooftops where you’ll have a decent view of fireworks.
This stunning boutique hotel north of Broadway is dressed in its holiday finest. It’s Instagram-ready, especially for photos with the SceniCruiser bus parked on the rooftop. The band Good Times Ahead will be playing and your $145.53 admission includes pass-around appetizers and the evening culminates with the firing of a confetti cannon.
A live DJ set from Brandi Cyrus is the headline news at Harriet’s, the rooftop bar at 1 Hotel. Early bird pricing for the premium open bar is set at $150, a savings of $100.
This party can’t be contained. It’s based in their great room but you’ve got access to two additional spaces. Make dinner reservations for dinner at Carne Mare (at additional cost). Cocktail attire is strongly encouraged. Prices start at $160.54. for a premium open bar, LED countdown at midnight, and DJs.
Atop the 30th floor atrium, this Rockin’ Rooftop Dance Party includes a balloon drop, light snacks, and a free champagne toast at midnight.
L27 welcomes revelers to a performance by Naughty Revelers atop one of Nashville’s tallest hotels. General admission starts at $97.87 with indoor and outdoor seating as well as cabana available for a price increase.
It’s a night to Sparkle & Shine atop this historic hotel a few blocks north of Broadway. suggested cocktail attire inspired by the Roaring ’20s. Your $300 fee includes a premium open bar, live music, dancing, and a variety of food stations. My friend Terri loved the rooftop viewing of the fireworks on July 4th. Should be similar (but shorter) for NYE.
Overlooking the river, their fifth floor ballroom foyer is a great location for a stellar evening. Hotel guests (and others who pay a $50 cover charge) can enjoy a red carpet photo op, live jazz 7-10pm and a DJ to carry you through to New Years. Bottle service available. VIP booths for four are $200.
The uber-hip L.A. Jackson rooftop bar is bringing Midnight Hour: A Hollywood Affair. Choose from two packages. For $275, you’re in line for “swanky hors d’ouvres,” a midnight champagne toast, an after-midnight brunch, and patio viewing of the fireworks. The $1,000 package includes an exclusive seating area for up to 10 people, caviar and a seafood tower, a magnum bottle of champagne, and dedicated cocktail service.
“Bubbles Over Broadway” is the theme at lou/na, the Grand Hyatt’s top o’ the building restaurant/bar. the $250 package includes free valet parking, a dueling pianos performance, cocktails, beer, wine, after-dinner appetizers, and desserts.
Growing up in Nashville, this windowed flying saucer-shaped structure atop the hotel was THE place to go. It’s still pretty cool with 360-degree views of the city. Now known as SKYE, the restaurant/bar isn’t the tallest hospitality structure but will give you a pretty fine view of the fireworks. Highlights include a photo booth, a DJ, an aerialist troupe, open bar, unlimited champagne, and food stations. Early bird special: $100, general admission: $175.
Bourbon Steak on the 34th floor offers one of the most commanding views of the city. The restaurant offers two seatings with reservations required (5pm @$315/pp and 7:15pm@$450/pp). ; the second seating includes dancing to a live band, and viewing of fireworks from the Bourbon Sky Lounge terrace. Its 888 Lounge also has two options: a 5-course tasting menu served 5pm-8pm for $175/pp and a NYE party that runs 9pm-2am with a choice of an open bar ($175/pp) or cash bar ($75/pp) with a DJ keeping things lively.

CONCERTS
Here’s a rarity–an all-ages show of really cool music. The top-notch cover band Guilty Pleasures will be rockin’ tunes from the ’80s. There’s no much space for dancing but don’t let that stop you. Tickets are $32.47. (Confirmed for 2024.)
I can pretty much guarantee you’ll have a blast when the Wooten Brothers take the stage for a funky, jazzy, soulful slide into 2025 called “The Get Down.” We love this little joint. Hurry to reserve your spot. Admission includes a pass-around New Orleans-inspired appetizers, midnight champagne toast, and a photo booth. Prices start at $98 in advance.
Old Crow Medicine Show at the Ryman
Now a New Year’s Eve tradition, join the boys for a hootenanny you’ll never forget. If it sells out, check on tickets for the December 30th show.
NYE EVENTS BEYOND DOWNTOWN
Inspired Nashville’s patron saint Dolly Parton, this rooftop bar above The Graduate Hotel offers general admission passes starting at $150. Included are a four-hour open bar, complimentary hors d’oeverves, a midnight toast, and music by a local DJ. It’s in Midtown–not downtown–so tall buildings may partially block fireworks viewing.
Once Upon A Time will deliver live music by Hype Creek, a DJ, and open bar with packages starting at $150/person.
Located near Music Row on Demonbreun, the highlights are an open bar, light snacks, champagne toast, party favors, and a DJ. Open bar ends at 1am. Classic cocktail attire requested.
Over in East Nashville’s Tall Tales Rooftop Bar, the theme is Cowboys and Caviar. Subtitled “A Night of Glitz and Grit,” expect gourmet chow and distinctive drinks with a DJ providing the evening’s soundtrack of ’90s hip hop and country classics. Tickets: $118.59.
