2214 Elliston Place, Midtown. Aptly located on Nashville’s historic Rock Block, Buffalo Exchange is the home of new and recycled fashion. Popular with Vandy co-eds.
2500 12th Avenue S. Okay, it’s not in SoBro but it is a solid spot for boots, denim and leather jackets, t-shirts, and other vintage items.
402 Madison Street, Germantown. Do people still use the term “bric’a’brac”? They’ve got that as well as crafts, antiques, and clothes.
210 8th Avenue, S., halfway between The Gulch and Melrose. Home to the vintage and unusual, you’ll find all sorts of conversation-starters among their collectibles. The shop stocks furniture, furnishings, glassware, housewares, posters, and stuff you don’t know how you’ve lived without.
2302 12th Avenue, S., 12South. Feels more like an upscale boutique than a vintage shop but it’s filled with curious items.
2416 Music Valley Drive near Opryland Hotel. How they describe their inventory: “vintage clothing, baubles & kitsch from the 1920’s-Y2K!” I’ll add that they’ve got a bunch of western wear too. And strangely Ernest Tubb’s tour bus is parked inside the store.

103 22nd Street, Old Hickory. It’s a bit out of zone for the typical Nashville visitor but, if you’re on a quest for cool clothes and miscellanea, who cares? Right? The racks are well-organized and loaded with women’s wear–from the refined to the ribald. And they’re ready for the men and kids too.
4900 Charlotte Pike, West Nashville. Look for the Elvis statue outside, a foreshadowing that this place is a little funky. Inside you’ll find home decor, furniture, and whatever weird items that decide fits their vibe. A tidy little record collection too.
2805 Green Hills Village Drive, Green Hills. How do you define bargains? This shop offers one-of-a-kind pre-owned designer jewelry, watches, handbags, and accessories from top brands including Rolex, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Tiffany, and Gucci at up to 70% off retail.
It’s only open a few months throughout the year but my wife and I have found bargains on quality clothing. Not heavy into funky threads.
1820 21st Avenue, S., Hillsboro Village. Taking over the parking lot of Hillsboro Village Auto Service on weekends, this pop-up boutique is home to several vendors including sellers of vintage merchandise.
230 Franklin Rd Suite 11D/E, Franklin. Located inside The Factory, my fashion-savvy friend Alex describes it as “a treasure trove of carefully curated secondhand and vintage clothing for men, women, and children handpicked for their quality, craftsmanship, and trend appeal. She applauds their team for their ability to anticipate future trends. She monitors their Instagram account for style inspiration and has purchased items directly off of their in-store mannequins.
