Notes on Nashville: Advertising Guide
Why Advertise
Who is Notes on Nashville? I’m a fourth generation, lifelong Nashvillian with a passion for helping visitors discover all that the city has to offer. There’s no corporation, no franchise based elsewhere. I offer direct advertising (no Google Ads) and hope local businesses will find this website an affordable medium to reach visitors. I’m not a fan of clutter so I limit advertising to a maximum of 4 ads per page.
Advertising FAQ
- All ads will be reviewed before they appear on the website. I will do my best to turn around approval within three business days.
- I do not accept advertisements promoting pornography, religion, politics, cryptocurrency, illegal activities, or content that conflicts with my values. This policy is firm; don’t bother asking for exceptions.
- Currently, payment for ads must be made with a PayPal account. If I get high demand, I will add standard credit card processing.

I appreciate your understanding and cooperation on this.
Who is my audience?
Primarily people who are: 1) planning a visit to Nashville or 2) currently in town and looking for information. Mobile traffic is over 80%. If your website isn’t mobile-friendly, I’d recommend fixing that before advertising on Notes on Nashville.
The audience is primarily iOS (iPhone), highly educated, and higher incomes. More information about iOS users is here.
